Addendum 1 Exchange
Exchange has been an issue in the EU and in EGIN for a long time.
Still in vocational education, specifically in the apprenticeship systems, there is not a lot of student or teacher mobility. What are the ideas of the schools, how would they like to exchange their students and teachers? Does exchange have an added value for the skills related to the professions?

We invite schools who have experience and or ideas to contact EGIN in order to shape this subject further.
Of course information from the EU about possibilities, funding and actions will be provided at the meeting.

Another issue will be the possibilities and or need for people from companies, probably at management level, to also be mobile and see if it has an added value to meet with colleagues.

Addendum 2 Change
On Friday morning Lex Bergers will have an interactive presentation about Change.
Main focus will be on: The Einstein Generation (Y-generation or screenagers generation).
He will do this in relation with a brief overview of the main generations and typologies we can distinguish now.
There is a possible clash between Y generation and the two/three preceding ones. Does that happen? Are there solutions? Change.
Further he will address:

  • How is the world changing?
  • How is communication changing in a new world and what are the implications
  • Why teachers have become more important than ever
  • How does Generation Einstein fit into organisational structures in companies?
  • What can we learn from this new generation? And how to cope with barriers?
  • How does the Einstein generation fit into traditional companies?
  • Who has to change or adapt.

These issues will be dealt with, not only in the presentation, but mainly by the audience in the meeting room, in separate rooms, in discussions, in expressions etc.
